CMRL Recruitment Board, Chennai Metro Rail has invited applications from candidates to apply for the role of Dy General Manager, Joint General Manager, Dy Manager posts. Eligible candidates can apply for the posts through the official site of Chennai Metro Rail on https://chennaimetrorail.org.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the posts mentioned above should possess Graduate in their respective fields.
Age Limit
The candidates should not be more than Age mentioned against the notified post as of 01/07/2022. Age relaxation will be of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen is discretionary. Relaxation in age and experience can be considered for deserving candidates. In this respect, the decision of CMRL will be final and binding.
Examination/ Application Fees
Candidates belonging to the Unreserved & other candidates are required to pay a Non-refundable fee of Rs.300/- and SC/ST are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.50/- (for processing & postage charge) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of M/s Chennai Metro Rail Limited, payable at Chennai. Candidates should clearly mention their name, postcode, and mobile number at the back of the Demand Draft. No application fee for Differently Abled persons. Only disability certificate to be attached along with the application. The payment should be done through online mode.
Selection procedure
- Only provisionally eligible candidates shall be called for the selection process. In case of more number of eligible applications received then candidates equal to 05 times the notified vacancies may be called based on their suitability for the job. The list of shortlisted candidates for calling for further process of recruitment will be prepared on the basis of the length of Experience of eligible candidates. The specific date of the interview will be intimated along with the list of short-listed candidates through the CMRL website or through emails. Candidates are required to go regularly through CMRL’s official website chennaimetrorail.org.
- The candidate will be interviewed by a nominated Committee and the selection will be finalized on merit based on the performance in the interview, qualification, and post-qualification experience gained by the Candidate.
- The decision of the Nominated Committee of CMRL shall be final and binding.
Note: Candidate Selected through VC will be appointed on the post only after verification of Original documents and prescribed Medical Examination. Candidate should carry original Application, Educational documents, Experience certificate & other documents mentioned in the notification along with one set of self-attested copies at the time of Document verification. Date, time, and venue for Document verification will be communicated to selected candidates through the website and registered e-mail id
